Who you are buying from

Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we accept it and begin work. We may decline an order — for a photo we cannot work from, a knife we cannot safely cover, or an address we cannot ship to — and if we do, you are refunded in full.

Prices

In US dollars, shown before you pay, plus flat shipping. We can change prices, but never on an order already placed.

Your photo

You keep it. By uploading it you give us permission to use it for the one purpose of making your cover. We will not publish it, post it, or use it in advertising without asking you first.

What the product is

A wooden cover cut to the outline of the knife in your photo and finished by hand. It is made of wood: grain, color and figure vary piece to piece, and no two are identical. That is the material, not a fault.

Safe use

A cover is a cover, not a safety device. Knives are sharp and remain dangerous in one. Keep both away from children. We are not responsible for injury from handling a knife.

If something goes wrong

Our responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it — remade, or refunded, as set out in Returns. Nothing here limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
